Immediate Volunteer Needs: Supporting Israel

The Jewish Volunteer Network (JVN) has created efforts to support the people of Israel as well as older adults in Cleveland during this horrific time. The following calls to action are directly based upon feedback we have received from our partners both locally and overseas as to what they need from us now, many of which can be done from your home. Please join us in service to show your support.
Mobilizing Letters and Videos of Support to Israeli Citizens and IDF Soldiers
Write personal handwritten letters and/or send a short video (via cell phone) to support Israelis through unimaginable hardship. Your kindness and steadfast support will remind them that the Cleveland Jewish community is here and stands with Israel now and forever. We are working on a system to digitally send these letters and videos to Israel. Please click here to submit your caring messages.
Caring Calls to Older Adults in Cleveland
Connect with community members to show we care by making “caring calls.” Help combat fear and anxiety caused by the attack on Israel by Hamas among many of our older community members. Guidelines and a sample script will be provided. Click here to participate.
