Welcome to the newest residents of Moishe House – Jessica Friedman and Matthew Frankel. Both Jessica and Matthew are Cleveland natives and graduates of The Ohio State University. “Growing up here, the community did so much for me,” said Jessica. “Joining Moishe House is such an amazing opportunity to give back.”

Hi everyone! You probably know my name from writing for the Cleveland Jewish News as a Staff Reporter. What I’m working on now is a little different, because I’m about to go on a Birthright Israel trip.

The arts provide a common language spoken by every culture which is why philanthropist Roe Green of Lyndhurst is deepening her investment in the arts by establishing a $10M fund that will create endowments in support of the Jewish Federation of Cleveland’s Campaign for Jewish Needs and Cleveland Israel Arts Connection.

It’s exciting to make a new professional connection. I’m always intrigued when I receive a LinkedIn notification from a new person who wants to connect with me. Do we work in a similar field, have related interests, or live in the same city? But what can be even more interesting is making a new connection with someone from a different country. The exchange of ideas can be invaluable.
