Travelers will bear witness, participate in hands-on volunteer projects that meet pressing needs, and experience how Cleveland supports Israel in times of peace and war. See how the Campaign for Jewish Needs and Israel Emergency Campaign dollars are supporting Israelis through unprecedented times.

We hope to see you at our February events. This month, we are welcoming Israeli activist and speaker Hen Mazzig to Cleveland for a number of events, hosting two Pajama Havdallah events for young families, presenting our latest Roe Green Gallery exhibit to the community, and more.

The Jewish Federation of Cleveland held its annual Winter Break Lunch Program over six days between Dec. 19 and Dec. 28 at the May Dugan Center in Cleveland.

The Jewish Volunteer Network (JVN) has created efforts to support the people of Israel as well as older adults in Cleveland during this horrific time. The following calls to action are directly based upon feedback we have received from our partners both locally and overseas as to what they need from us now, many of which can be done from your home. We’re so grateful to JVN’s incredible leadership team! This committee, chaired by Marty Shankle, meets bimonthly to spearhead new and existing volunteer opportunities in the Cleveland Jewish and general communities. Get to know committee member Leslie Brandon.

We hope to see you at our October events! This month, our Young Leadership Division hosts its signature fundraising event of the year, volunteers can help pick apples for donation to the Cleveland Chesed Center, and our community is invited to view our art exhibit in the Roe Green Gallery.

The Jewish Federation of Cleveland will once again kickoff its annual Campaign for Jewish Needs with a Super Sunday Kickoff event from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 10.
