Chanukah in a Basket Volunteer Brightens the Holiday

An inter-generational program, this year’s attendance topped previous years with over 200 volunteers of all ages including two busloads of students.

Growing up in Columbus, my family was not nearly as involved in our Jewish community as I am today.

It was a feel-good day for Team Federation as we ventured into our community for a Day of Service.

I grew up at the largest reform temple in North America, Temple Israel, in West Bloomfield, Michigan. As the great-granddaughter of a founding member, all of the major milestones in my life occurred there.

We applaud Dan Brown for honoring our ancestors through his commitment to cemetery preservation in Jewish Cleveland!

There’s no greater mitzvah than caring for those that came before us.
