We hope to see you at one of our many August events! This month, our Ben-Gurion Society donors are going to the Guardians game, volunteers can help clean up a local Jewish cemetery, and our community is invited to view the latest art exhibit in our Roe Green Gallery.

Pomegranate Society Summer Social
Pomegranate Society* donors are invited to a special event at District Gallery. Richard Uria and Karen Chaikin, owners of District Gallery, will host a conversation about “The Art of Collecting Art” while showcasing unique and interesting works from Israeli and Jewish artists from around the world.

Ben-Gurion Society Goes to the Guardians Game
Enjoy a day at the ballpark with fellow Ben-Gurion Society* donors! We'll connect with one another as we cheer on our Cleveland Guardians. Children and family members are welcome.

Cost: $18 per family
*Ben-Gurion Society is for individuals and couples between the ages of 22-45 who commit a minimum gift of $1,000 to the annual Campaign for Jewish Needs.

Summer Cemetery Cleanup
There’s no greater mitzvah than caring for those who came before us. Join volunteers of all ages and honor our ancestors by raking, pruning, and beautifying a local Jewish cemetery. All cleanup supplies will be provided.

One World Day
Join Jewish Cleveland at the 77th annual One World Day in the Cleveland Cultural Gardens and share pride in our Hebrew Cultural Gardens. This festive event celebrates Cleveland’s diverse cultures and includes a naturalization ceremony for new citizens, the colorful Parade of Flags, and ethnic food, music, and dance in each of our community’s many gardens. Volunteers are needed throughout the day in the Hebrew Cultural Gardens and to participate in the Parade of Flags to represent Israel.
