Volunteer Brightens the Holiday

Each year, volunteers come together to donate, wrap, and deliver gift baskets at our annual event, Chanukah in a Basket. Last year’s event garnered nearly 2,000 gift donations for our Jewish community’s neediest kids.
What motivates volunteers to donate items and wrap gifts at our Chanukah in a Basket wrapping event? Sharon Epstein, a volunteer at last year’s event said, “This is a special opportunity to give back to our community. It is especially meaningful to help families in our own Jewish community. For many children, this basket may be the only gift they receive.”
