Tarah King is joining the Young Family Engagement Team with the Jewish Federation of Cleveland as the new PJ Library Engagement Ambassador for Chagrin Falls and North Solon. As a mom of two, she is excited to begin connecting with young Jewish families in the area.

Q – What is your role as an Engagement Ambassador

Tarah: Becoming an Engagement Ambassador for PJ Library is personal for me. I’m a mom of two girls, ages 5 and 2. This is one of the few opportunities where I can have them come with me and I’m able to watch them get excited about being Jewish. I’m looking forward to connect with other young Jewish families in the Chagrin Falls and North Solon areas and let them know about PJ Library and the amazing activities the Federation has to offer.

Q – Why is Jewish Cleveland a perfect community for young Jewish families?

Tarah: Everyone is embraced in this community, no matter how you define Judaism. I am Jewish, my husband is not. PJ Library has been fantastic because it gives us more of a reason to come together. That is what makes the areas of Chagrin Falls and North Solon a great community. I love to see all the young Jewish families there embracing each other and celebrating their Judaism through PJ Library.

Q – How does PJ Library help celebrate Jewishness in Chagrin Falls and North Solon?

Tarah: PJ Library books and events are great tools for children to learn about Jewish traditions and values in an informal and fun atmosphere. PJ Library creates that spark for young Jewish families in North Solon and Chagrin Falls, whether they’re receiving free PJ books in the mail or getting together at an event.
