We are proud to be part of our national system, the Jewish Federations of North America, which represents 153 Jewish Federations and 300 independent network communities across North America. At this year’s General Assembly, a premiere leadership experience for engaged Federation volunteers and professionals, Federations from across North America shared their programs and innovations that are making their community stronger.

Every year, our community comes together as one to raise money for the Campaign for Jewish Needs: the annual fundraising campaign that ensures our community’s vitality and vibrancy in the year ahead. We work together to make the world better.

Rebecca Heller of Moreland Hills has been named the 2015 recipient of the Ruby Bass Award, honoring her volunteerism and dedication to the Jewish Federation of Cleveland. Heller was presented with the award at the Federation’s Lion of Judah Annual Dinner on September 24.

It was the perfect day for a “Spruce Up!” Volunteers from our Jewish Volunteer Network and Community Relations Committee, partnered with our friends at Habitat for Humanity and Esperanza to revitalize Cleveland’s Stockyard Neighborhood. Together, we repaired fences, painted, and landscaped to beautify our community that we love. Thanks to all of our dedicated volunteers for joining us to make a big difference!
