Kitchen Assistant
About the Kitchen Assistant position:
Under the general supervision, this position supports aspects of Kashrut food service at the Federation including food preparation, cooking, serving food and set-up/clean-up, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
The Kitchen Assistant is responsible for creating and sustaining a positive guest experience while ensuring the kitchen operations are running smoothly. This position assists with coordinating logistics for Federation events to ensure their success.
Flexibility to work up to 20 hours/week, with occasional Fridays, evenings and weekends.
NOTE: Kitchen is closed late Friday afternoon through Saturday night, designated Jewish holidays and Passover.
