Kol Israel Foundation Annual Fall Memorial

This year’s commemoration includes the formal dedication of the newly renovated Kol Israel Foundation Holocaust National Memorial. We will remember victims, honor Survivors, and reaffirm our commitment to Holocaust education as we pass the torch to a new generation.

10-7-23 One-Year Commemoration

October 7, 2024 marks one year since Hamas launched its attacks on Israel, murdering more than 1,200 people, kidnapping more than 250 others, and drastically changing our world.

What hasn’t changed is the undeniable strength and resilience of our Jewish community.

This October 7, join the Jewish Federation of Cleveland for a community-wide gathering to remember all those who were lost or stolen a year ago, mourn all those killed in Israel and in Gaza because of Hamas since that day, and pray for the day when neighbors can live side by side in peace.

Check-in will open at 5:15 pm. Program will begin promptly at 6 pm

Art + Activism Gallery Open House

In the aftermath of October 7, 2023, narrative street artist Dede Bandaid and street poet Nitzan Mintz combined their public street art with a viral activist campaign to create fliers calling for the immediate release of the of the hostages. Through Federation’s Jewish Volunteer Network, over 300 Clevelanders are participating in this very important campaign.

Volunteer at the Greater Cleveland Food Bank

As Sukkot is a holiday that celebrates the fall harvest and the abundance of food brought forth from the earth, it is an appropriate time to engage with issues like food insecurity in our own community. Volunteer with us as we work together to stock shelves and assist with shopping.

Please bring non-perishable, non-expired food items for donation.

Outreach Hours

We need your help raising the critical dollars needed to help feed the hungry, care for older adults, combat hate, and so much more. Join fellow community members as we make phone calls, send texts and emails, and connect with fellow community members via social media.
 
We'll work together, offer tips and resources, and motivate one another to achieve Campaign success.
 
This Campaign will close on December 11. Please help us ensure that no one is left out!

Join us for a special, in-person-only episode of the hit podcast Call Me Back.

This event will feature podcast host Dan Senor and Alana Newhouse, editor of Tablet Magazine. Together they will explore the current state of American Jewry, how it has changed since the attacks of October 7, and what challenges and opportunities lie ahead.
