We hope to see you at our September events. We look forward to opening a new exhibit in Federation's Roe Green Gallery, welcoming an Israeli expert on the Israel/Gaza war to share his insight, volunteering prior to the holidays at a local Jewish cemetery, and more.

Outreach Hours

We need your help raising the critical dollars needed to help feed the hungry, care for older adults, combat hate, and so much more. Join fellow community members as we make phone calls, send texts and emails, and connect with fellow community members via social media.
 
We'll work together, offer tips and resources, and motivate one another to achieve Campaign success.
 
This Campaign will close on December 11. Please help us ensure that no one is left out!

September 15
Art + Activism Exhibition Opening and Artist Talk

In the aftermath of October 7, 2023, narrative street artist Dede Bandaid and street poet Nitzan Mintz combined their public street art with a viral activist campaign to create fliers calling for the immediate release of the of the hostages. Through Federation’s Jewish Volunteer Network, over 300 Clevelanders are participating in this very important campaign.

Join us to hear from Dede and Nitzan about their role of activist-artists, how they developed their campaign of kidnapped posters, and how the posters became a worldwide phenomenon.

Challenges and Opportunities in the Wake of the Gaza War

Nimrod Novik is a member of the executive committee for Commanders for Israel's Security (CIS). Novik will provide insight into his work with CIS, an Israeli non-partisan movement of ex-senior security officials that aims to promote a regional diplomatic solution to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and to normalize relations with moderate Arab states.

Novik will also share his expertise on the challenges and opportunities facing Israel in the wake of the Gaza war.

Women IN Philanthropy Retreat

Join Women IN Philanthropy for an afternoon in nature at Camp Wise as we bring in the new year together. Take the time and space to reflect on the last year, make meaningful connections, feel proud and inspired by our community’s collective work, and find relaxation, restoration, and strength in a supportive space as you move into the new year.

Fall Cemetery Cleanup

Bring your weed trimmers, shovels, clippers, hedgers, gloves, wheelbarrows, and other gardening tools. Together, we’ll rake, prune, and spruce up Lansing Avenue Cemetery in preparation for the High Holidays. Project will include physical labor.

Dean Adler, CEO & Co-Founder of Lubert-Adler Partners, L.P. will join us to discuss Current Trends of the Real Estate Market.
