ABOUT ZIKARON BASALON:
Translated literally into “remembrance in the living room” from Hebrew, Zikaron BaSalon is an annual event, which takes place on Israeli Holocaust Memorial Day. The idea was born from the understanding that the connection between us – third generation descendants of the Holocaust survivors – and the memories of the Holocaust, has significantly deteriorated. The event started nine years ago in Israel but today has turned into a worldwide tradition with many participating locations across the globe.
