Our Jewish Cleveland story began about three years ago. We moved back to Northeast Ohio and were eager enough to get in touch with the Jewish Federation of Cleveland’s Young Leadership Division (YLD) Director, Jessie Bruder.

Super Sunday is October 29! It’s an exciting day for the Cleveland Jewish community. It’s a day to come together as one and raise money for the 2018 Campaign for Jewish Needs.

Jewish Cleveland women innovate, impact, and inspire! Nearly 250 Lion of Judah, Pomegranate, and Ben-Gurion Society donors celebrated philanthropy at our second annual Women’s Philanthropy Signature Event.

Super Sunday is the largest single-day giveathon for the Federation’s 2018 Campaign for Jewish Needs – an annual fundraising campaign from September to December that raises money for local, national and international Jewish needs. Last year, the Federation raised $31.7 million in total for the campaign. For the last five years, it’s raised more than $1 million on Super Sunday.

The Kol Israel Foundation was founded by a group of people in the 1950’s, who came to Cleveland after the Holocaust, to establish a memorial for their friends and family members who perished in the Holocaust.

The Hazelnuts – an Israeli troupe of three swing singers – will join the 10-time Grammy Award-winning The Manhattan Transfer for an Oct. 17 concert at downtown Cleveland’s State Theatre. The event is sponsored by the Jewish Federation of Cleveland’s Cleveland Israel Arts Connection.
