Official Statement Following the Presidential Election

Families are invited to celebrate giving at the Jewish Federation of Cleveland and PJ Library® Young Families Tzedakah Party on Sunday, December 4 from 9:30 to 11:30 am at the Federation’s Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Building (25701 Science Park Drive, Beachwood). This free event is ideal for families with children 5 and under. Older siblings and grandparents are also welcome to join the fun.

Jewish Cleveland young adults are invited to travel the world and apply for the Roslyn Z. Wolf Cleveland-JDC International Fellowship. The Jewish Federation of Cleveland, in partnership with the American Joint Distribution Committee (JDC), will select one applicant to participate with 25 other Jewish young adult fellows in an exceptional opportunity to spend one year abroad through a paid, individual global service opportunity.

What is the GA? Every year, our partner, the Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA), annually hosts the General Assembly.

The YLD Big Event is here, and the Jewish Federation of Cleveland’s Young Leadership Division is gearing up for one awesome night, celebrating people in their 20’s, 30’s and 40’s who make a difference in this community – November 19 at The Westin Cleveland Downtown.

WASHINGTON – Are we seeing a repeat of the 1920s and 1930s that led to the Holocaust or is the reaction to world events overblown?

Share the warmth of the holiday by donating new gifts to children and families in need. The Jewish Federation of Cleveland’s Chanukah in a Basket program is collecting items to be distributed to local community members experiencing financial distress. For many children, these gifts may be the only gifts they receive this season.

WASHINGTON – Jessica Cohen and Debbie Klein of the Jewish Federation of Cleveland hope their efforts regarding Israel advocacy and education efforts in the Greater Cleveland community can be a model across the country.

Dina Rubin has been selected to join the national PJ Our Way Design Team, a prestigious position through the PJ Our Way program that gives young people the opportunity to develop leadership skills, while connecting with other pre-teens across the country. Dina, age 9, lives in Orange Village with her mom, dad, and older brother Ari, who was also involved in PJ Our Way as a member of Cleveland’s Local Design Team.
