Ahead of the Shalva Band’s community-wide performance to celebrate Israel at 75, four members of the band spoke to students from the Joseph and Florence Mandel Jewish Day School in Beachwood and Gross Schechter Day School in Pepper Pike to share a message of believing in oneself and never giving up.

As the Jewish Federation of Cleveland’s Israel at 75 mission began its weeklong stay in Israel, the delegation had the opportunity to attend an April 19 induction ceremony at the American Jewish Joint Distribution Center’s Jerusalem campus.

Alyson’s Place is a medical clinic imbedded into Jewish Family Service Association. Alyson's Place provides easy access to clients of JFSA, bringing together professionals and staff well-versed in people with diverse needs.

The Hillel Wellness Program is a partnership between three of the Jewish Federation of Cleveland's beneficiary agencies, Jewish Family Service Association (JFSA), Cleveland Hillel, Hillel at Kent State University. The program provides a mental health counselor from JFSA who comes to Hillel campuses to provide one-on-one services, group sessions, and any other services that a student needs.

30 Jewish high school juniors and seniors from public and private high schools across Cleveland have come together to recommend grants totaling $45,000 to 18 organizations for crucial programs in the Jewish and general community through the Jewish Federation of Cleveland’s 2022-2023 Maurice Saltzman Youth Panel.

An all-expense paid adventure of a lifetime and a chance to explore the landscape, culture and people of Israel can be within reach for 18- to 26-year-olds who apply and are accepted into the Birthright Israel program, Elle Henig, manager of international experiences at the Jewish Federation of Cleveland told the Cleveland Jewish News.
