Join our community as we honor these survivors and remember those who perished in the Holocaust at the Jewish Federation of Cleveland and the Kol Israel Foundation’s Yom Hashoah V’Hagvurah on Wednesday, April 15 from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. at Green Road Synagogue, 2437 S. Two world-renowned scholars from Cleveland’s sister city of St. Petersburg, Russia join our community for a special lecture series, March 9-15, 2015. Alexander Ivanov and Valery Dymshits are both ethnographers at the Petersburg Judaica Center, a research center of the European University of St. Petersburg, Russia. Their visit is in coordination with the exhibition of photos featured in, “The Way We Looked: Photographs of Shtetl Life,” which are now on display in the Roe Green Gallery at the Jewish Federation of Cleveland.
