Coaching Circles offers women in Jewish Cleveland an open, motivating, and engaging process to foster personal growth and connect across the community through meaningful conversations and peer-based coaching.

Erika Rudin-Luria, president of the Jewish Federation of Cleveland in Beachwood, was among women honored in Masa’s Inspiring 12: Jewish Women Working to Make a Difference list.

This March, we will discuss contemporary antisemitism with renowned author Dara Horn, support the community by donating baby supplies and volunteering at the Cleveland Chesed Center, enjoy fun events for young families, and more.

The Jewish Federation of Cleveland raised a record $34,023,524 in its 2022 annual Campaign for Jewish Needs.

The community raised $34,023,524 from 11,379 donors representing 8,398 gifts to help care for one another, prepare for the future, share our perspectives, and repair our world. Thanks to the generous support of our donors and dedicated volunteers, we are – and will continue to be – HERE FOR GOOD! These totals were shared at the virtual Campaign Closing Celebration on December 8.

Greater Cleveland is home to several people who played a role in creating some of Hollywood’s most iconic television shows and movies, among them David Wain, the co-director of six feature films.

The Jewish Federation of Cleveland’s Young Leadership Division and Women IN Philanthropy joined together at Gathering For Good to celebrate the community, support the 2022 Campaign for Jewish Needs, and honor Shoshana Dessler Jacobs, this year’s recipient of the Irene Zehman Volunteer Award.

The Jewish Federation of Cleveland announced today that Shoshana Dessler Jacobs is the 2021 recipient of the Irene Zehman Volunteer Award. Each year, the Federation recognizes an unsung Jewish woman or group of women who demonstrate the highest ideals and practices of volunteer service on behalf of the Jewish and/or general community. Jacobs, who is the co-founder and executive director of Israel Medical Fund, a nonprofit supporting medical initiatives in Israel, will be honored at the Federation’s Gathering for Good event on December 1.
