At the start of every new year, most people set out to better themselves with resolutions. Many of us promise to eat healthier, exercise more, pick up a new hobby or check off the bucket list. The beginning of a new year also affords an opportunity to take a step back and reflect on our lives with a renewed sense of hope that we can make positive changes and do things differently.

Join us in celebrating 25 years of the Lion of Judah Endowment, as we work together to secure 25 new LOJEs by January 2020.

Coaching Circles, a leadership development program, offers women a supportive and motivating environment to connect through meaningful conversations and peer coaching. Coaching Circles was created to give participants an opportunity to work with seasoned lay leaders to help enhance their skills and talents. This program has already enabled 108 women to establish new relationships, develop in an area that is a current challenge related to a career or community volunteerism, and learn about the Federation.

I recently had the incredible opportunity to visit Israel with the Jewish Federation of Cleveland where I attended the Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA) General Assembly in Tel Aviv, along with the Israel at 70 Mission that took a deep dive in more remote communities.

We welcome all the women who will be leading our strong, vibrant community in the coming year and thank you to all of our outgoing chairs for their dedication.

A true demonstration of “The Impact of Together!” Over 10,000 community members raised more than $32.7 million to help care for one another, prepare for the future, share our perspectives, and repair our world.

After nearly a decade of staying silent, Monica Lewinsky said she is once again in the public eye to take back control of her narrative and advocate against bullying during the Jewish Federation of Cleveland’s women’s philanthropy Signature Event Oct. 29 at Landerhaven in Mayfield Heights.

The Jewish Federation of Cleveland announced that Nan Cohen of Pepper Pike was awarded the 2018 Ruby Bass Award, the organization’s most prestigious award for women philanthropists. Cohen was honored with the award at the Federation’s Women’s Philanthropy Signature Event on October 29.
