We hope to see you at our February events. This month, we are welcoming Israeli activist and speaker Hen Mazzig to Cleveland for a number of events, hosting two Pajama Havdallah events for young families, presenting our latest Roe Green Gallery exhibit to the community, and more.

As the Jewish Federation of Cleveland and 175 attendees celebrated the closing of another successful annual Campaign for Jewish Needs, the event honored two essential people involved in the campaign.

The Jewish Federation of Cleveland announced that a record $36,355,013 has been raised by 9,045 gifts representing 11,881 donors in the 2024 Campaign for Jewish Needs, the annual fundraising campaign that serves Jewish Cleveland and the global community. Additionally, the community raised $33,349,261 for the Israel Emergency Campaign to date since launching immediately following the terrorist attack in Israel on October 7. These totals were shared at the Campaign Closing Event at the Mandel Jewish Community Center on December 13.

The Jewish Federation of Cleveland will host its Campaign Closing Event for this year’s annual Campaign for Jewish Needs on Wednesday, December 13 at 7:00 pm. The entire community is invited to attend this event, which will be held at the Mandel JCC Stonehill Auditorium (26001 S. Woodland Road in Beachwood).

The Jewish Federation of Cleveland's Young Leadership Division (YLD) is seeking outstanding young Jewish Clevelanders to serve on the YLD Board. YLD engages and cultivates future leaders of the Cleveland Jewish Community.

As more than 200 young Jewish Clevelanders gathered together in the wake of the Oct. 7 Hamas attacks on Israel, Adam Teitelbaum of the Israel Action Network and the Jewish Federations of North America, shared hope that out of this crisis will be a new awakening.

After the Oct. 7 Hamas attack on Israel, the Jewish Federation of Cleveland’s Young Leadership Division mobilized to rebrand its Big Event as a Night of Unity to become a night of support.

We hope to see you at our October events! This month, our Young Leadership Division hosts its signature fundraising event of the year, volunteers can help pick apples for donation to the Cleveland Chesed Center, and our community is invited to view our art exhibit in the Roe Green Gallery.

Like many former campers, as Sadie Meyer headed off to college, took on more financial responsibility and faced more career pressures, she wasn’t sure if she would be able to return to camp as a counselor.
