YLD Names New Board Chair, Adds Six New Members to its Board

The Jewish Federation of Cleveland’s Young Leadership Division (YLD) announced that Jonathon Nisenboum will succeed Ryan Levine as its board chair, effective January 2023. YLD connects Jewish young adults, ages 22 to 45, to each other and the community through social, volunteer, leadership, and philanthropic activities.

The Jewish Federation of Cleveland announced that a record $34,870,821 has been raised by 8,890 gifts – including 1,896 new gifts to the Campaign – representing 12,178 donors in the 2023 Campaign for Jewish Needs, the annual fundraising campaign that serves Jewish Cleveland and the global community.

WATCH: Students Honor Holocaust Victims with Special Ceremony

For nearly 10 years, Hillel at Kent State University and the AEPi fraternity have held a name-reading ceremony to commemorate Yom HaShoah. The 24-hour event is held on the campus of Kent State University; Jewish and non-Jewish students take turns reading the names of those who lost their life during the Holocaust.
